As Wimbledon rolls in, so too do the storm clouds... but it wouldn't be the first day of play without a bit of sogginess.
What most tennis fans didn't expect however, was the absence of Andrew Murray in this year's competition. The Brit may be number one but a wrist injury has got the better of him this time round. A doctor's orders are final and when there's a long term career to think of, sacrifices have to be made.
Murray had been drawn to play Ecuador's Nicolas Lapentti in the first round but American Kevin Kim has now taken his place. Let's hope for a swift recovery (and some sun). In the meantime, Tim Henman has some high expectations ahead of him. Looks like Murray's Mound may not steal the Henman Hill title just yet.
Do you have a message for Murray? Maybe some words of support for Henman? Or do you just want to have your say about the matches so far? Post your Wimbledon rants in the comments section. There's also discussion happening on the official Andy Murray forum...
"Were politics involved in the handling of the pull out? That's the question being asked by some."

General Information
It's no secret that Wimbledon is the must-see tennis event of the year. People will do damn-near anything to secure a seat for their favourite player's big game. In most cases, this means lining up and waiting overnight. But why all the fuss? What's the big deal about smashing that little yellow ball between two racquets?
Maybe it's the strawberries and cream, the centre court buzz, or the hit and miss Russian-weather-roulette - June can only mean one thing; two weeks of tennis fever. In the lead up to the event, we take a look at Wimbledon's history - right through to the possible stars of 2007. In an attempt assist your Wimbledon plans, we've got all the advice you'll need about getting there, finding the ticket that suits you, what to wear, when to get there, and for the brave... how to survive the overnight lines. Weve also got tips from past Wimbledon-goers.
The biggest question is... will 'Henman Hill' become 'Murray Mound'? Until then, "THWACK", "THWACK", "THWACK", "THWACK".
When?
The tournament is the third Grand Slam event played each year. The 2007 Championships will be held between 25th June - 8th July, 2007. The question isn't when to go - just how to get in.
