General Information
It's no secret that Wimbledon is the must-see tennis event of the year. People will do damn-near anything to secure a seat for their favourite player's big game. In most cases, this means lining up and waiting overnight. But why all the fuss? What's the big deal about smashing that little yellow ball between two racquets?
Maybe it's the strawberries and cream, the centre court buzz, or the hit and miss Russian-weather-roulette - June can only mean one thing; two weeks of tennis fever. In the lead up to the event, we take a look at Wimbledon's history - right through to the possible stars of 2007. When?
The tournament is the third Grand Slam event played each year. The 2007 Championships will be held between 25th June - 8th July, 2007. The question isn't when to go - just how to get in.
